The requirements for joining a housing cooperative can vary depending on the cooperative. Typically, members must be of legal age and willing to collaborate in the management of the cooperative.
Housing cooperatives operate through the transfer of a disused property or plot of land by an owner or public institution. Our team
EDL Original Building
EDL Original Building SLU is a construction company established in 2018, led by Pedro Sánchez Santamaria, who has an extensive career in the real estate sector, including the creation of Grupo Sánchez Romero S.A., specializing in tourist complexes and apartments in Spain and Brazil. The company is distinguished by its focus on customer service and home customization, having built more than 3,000 units and gaining significant recognition in the market.
Since 2023, the company has undertaken a new housing self-promotion project in collaboration with QHâbitat Management SL, Columbus SL and Zabala Inmobles SL, all with a reputation in the sector. This project focuses on the active participation of the customer in the design and personalization of their home, seeking to offer an exclusive product. QHâbitat is already reaping success and recognition in its current promotions, which demonstrates the effectiveness of its focus on customer satisfaction.
Zabala
In 1964, Domingo Zabala founded Construcciones Zabala at a time when small construction entrepreneurs were exploring a market with high demand for affordable housing. However, Domingo chose to differentiate itself, focusing on offering structural guarantees and quality finishes. This commitment to excellence has been the norm in the more than 1500 homes built by Construcciones Zabala and Habitatges Zabala in our region. From 2015, under the direction of Carme Zabala and Sergio Gómez, Zabala Gestió d'Immobles has specialized in the real estate market.
Zabala's commitment to the construction of high-quality buildings, interrupted by the real estate crisis, has been reborn with the collaboration of the three companies that make up the QHâbitat Cooperatives Manager. Currently, with several projects in development, we remain faithful to the company's original goal: to offer quality homes at fair prices.
COLUMBUS Arquitectura
The company, which continues the work of POMBO Arquitectura and the independent practice of Ignacio Pombo since 1986, has accumulated 38 years of experience in the field of architecture. Building projects have been carried out in various sectors such as residential, tourist, industrial and hotel, as well as urban planning in various regions of Spain and West African and European countries.
Ignacio Pombo, with a degree in Architecture and a Master's in building from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as well as a Master's in Business Management, has combined the role of architect with that of real estate developer, builder and manager of cooperatives, developing thousands of 'houses. In his new cooperative management project, he seeks to apply all his accumulated experience to achieve the best results in new cooperative initiatives.
